 At Joburg Fertility Center, we offer personalised IVF treatment to help individuals and couples experiencing difficulties conceiving. 

IVF is an assisted reproductive treatment in which eggs are collected from the ovaries and fertilised with sperm in a specialised laboratory. The resulting embryos are carefully monitored before a selected embryo is transferred into the uterus to establish a pregnancy.

At Joburg Fertility Center, we offer Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), a fertility treatment designed to improve the chances of pregnancy.

IUI involves preparing and placing healthy, motile sperm directly into the uterus around the time of ovulation, bringing sperm closer to the egg to facilitate natural fertilisation.

IUI may be recommended for couples experiencing unexplained infertility, mild male-factor infertility, ovulation difficulties, cervical factors, or patients requiring donor sperm.

At Joburg Fertility Center, we offer Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), an advanced fertility treatment that helps couples overcome fertilisation difficulties, particularly those associated with male infertility.

ICSI involves carefully selecting a single sperm and injecting it directly into a mature egg in our specialised IVF laboratory to assist fertilisation. The resulting embryos are monitored before a suitable embryo is transferred into the uterus.

FET provides patients with an opportunity to use their preserved embryos without undergoing another egg retrieval procedure.

Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to retrieve sperm directly from the testicles in men who have little or no sperm in their semen (azoospermia).

TESA may be recommended for men with:

• Azoospermia
• Blocked sperm ducts
• Previous vasectomy 
• Ejaculation difficulties

 TESA involves inserting a fine needle into the testicle under local anaesthesia, sometimes with sedation, to aspirate tissue or fluid that may contain sperm.

Gestational surrogacy is an arrangement in which a woman, known as a gestational surrogate, carries a pregnancy on behalf of intended parent(s).

Office hysteroscopy, a minimally invasive, one-day procedure used to diagnose and treat abnormalities inside the uterus.

A thin camera is gently inserted through the cervix to examine the uterine cavity without abdominal incisions. The procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis, allowing patients to return home the same day.
